Clematis John Paul II

Didn't have to go far for a blip today, as this grows right outside the front door:-)  

However, we have been to Dunkeld to visit our friends who recently moved there and to collect some of the packing cases we lent them.  Then it was on to Grandtully for lunch at the Highland Chocolatier, except they don't do lunches any more!  We had a cheese scone instead which was very nice, but not quite what we had planned!

A quick drive to Aberfeldy to visit the bookshop at The Watermill for a particular book, which they didn't have.  All in all, not the most successful of days, but we enjoyed the outing anyway (in spite of the intermittent rain and the chilly temperatures!)  This is Scotland, after all and we can't expect those abnormal recent sunny days to last for long!
