BT tower....

...reflected in a building with a mirror wall as we waited  to meet the family outside Warren Street tube station today. I have been to the top of this building several times, though many years ago!

Wikipedia says;
The BT Tower is a communications tower located in FitzroviaLondon, owned by BT Group. It has been previously known as the GPO Tower, the Post Office Tower and the Telecom Tower. The main structure is 177 metres (581 ft) high, with a further section of aerial rigging bringing the total height to 191 metres (627 ft). It should not be confused with the BT Centre (the global headquarters of BT). Its Post Office code was YTOW.

Upon completion it overtook the Millbank Tower to become the tallest building in both London and the United Kingdom, titles it held until 1980, when it in turn was overtaken by the NatWest Tower.

Interesting but probably out of date now!

When the family arrived we walked through Regents Park, stopping at various adventure playgrounds, and walked along the canal to Camden Lock where we enjoyed different lunches and the children watched a magician at play. Sophia is still in plaster following her elbow injury, but little stops her doing anything and she soon made friends and sandcastles. (See my extras.)

Home ..for a rest...and then an unexpected visit from friends. My car received a little TLC and my laptop some much needed backing up. Thank you so much!
