Fire and rescue

There was a lot of activity on the river today. I checked carefully that it was ok to take a photograph and that I wasn't intruding on something awful. In the end it was only an exercise but someone had been in the water. Fortunately he was ok and didn't need to be rescued so the two boats, three fire engines, coastguard helicopter and a few other emergency vehicles were stood down.

I think I'm a day early for the transport challenge but I'll chance my arm anyway.

Lovely sunny day - but I've got some papers to read for next week. I can hear the garden calling but I need to give them some attention.
