Lathyrus Odoratus

Firle Beacon

This morning I decided that a long walk on the South Downs might help with the stiffness following my incident with the ladder. I'm not sure it worked but it was a glorious four hour stroll from Wilmington over to Jevington and then around the Lullington Heath nature reserve. Lots of butterflies - I'd seen ten species  before the first hour was up - including Adonis Blue and several pairs of Wall Brown.
