The Lake....

It is Queen's Birthday Weekend with next Monday being a public holiday. Maisie, our Labradoodle, and I walked along the toe of the Taylor Dam on the downward side and then up the track and back along the top of the structure. The bellbirds were setting up a lovely chorus in the flowering gum trees along the lower track. Looking south is the lake in its winter garb photographed from the top of the Dam. We had a day of mixed cloud and sunshine, only a little warmer than yesterday. Surprisingly, on a mundane note, most of the washing got dry out doors!
