Just when I said ...

.... that the greenfinches had gone, back they came again. I was very pleased to see them, both the male and the female. Maybe they have a nest somewhere nearby. Hope so.

Spectacular misjudgement of a walk with the dog. Caught in a very heavy shower sandwiched between warm sunshine and blue skies. The greenfinch was caught in the rain too.

Out for dinnner at a friend's house tonight. He's a good cook so looking forward to it.
