I had removed soil from under our house in order to have more head room. This spring we had lots of rain. Therefore ten centimeters of water collected under our house in the crawl space. I purchased gravel and shoveled it into the crawl space to raise the ground level. I should place a concrete skim coat under this section of the house. Unfortunately only 60 centimeters of head room at one end of the house because our property has a slope. I will renew the plastic covering instead.

Under the house I have glass insulators that we found along the railway and older style beer bottles. The former owner of the house was a heavy drinker and beachcomber. I saved several of his beer bottles and his beach-combing license.
