Life in Newburgh on Ythan

White the colour of innocence

When I was born much of Europe was in ruins, the systematic butchering of the Jews, Gypsies and other groups was at its height and untold millions were dead or displaced. I had hoped that during my lifetime things would improve, but they haven't. As last night's events in London prove, too many of us still hate each other to the point that we wish to kill them.

I took the 'extra' last night a few minutes before the terrorists struck in London. It shows the moon and Jupiter which is currently 452 million miles away. A reminder that we are but a mere speck in the Universe.
