Life in Newburgh on Ythan

A fly on oak

None of God's Creatures absolutely consider'd are in their own Nature Contemptible; the meanest Fly, the poorest Insect has its Use and Vertue.

Mary Astell. English writer 1666-1731

What kind of fly this is I have no idea. All that I can say is that it was very small!

The "extra" is a record of today's weather; water droplets on a St John's Wort leaf.
