Veni, vidi, reliquit

We came, we saw, we left. Yes, sadly today was the end of our short break to Rome. We had to depart for the airport quite early in the morning, but I just had time before breakfast to pop outside the hotel to take this photo of Bernini's Fontana del Tritone in the Piazza Barberini.

Unfortunately this early in the morning the sun was right behind the subject, which wasn't ideal. I have a much better photo of it taken a couple of days earlier, but to post that would be cheating.

It has been great having five days of being spoilt for choice for blips. It is going to be something of a comedown tomorrow trawling around Derby for something interesting to shoot :-).
