Why Black Tulip?

Dollykgray has set a bit of a Mono Monday challenge, but it had to be done.

The roads on our small enclave are all named after the types of trees that grow in the vicinity.  We have Chestnut Avenue, Stone Pine Close, Red Cedar, Blue Spruce, you get the picture.  Ours is called Tulip Tree Close, so that was a start in choosing a blip name.  Black tulips are non-existent but it's the aim of tulip growers to one day be able to produce them and they're getting close.  Hence the name.

I am not Tulip Black as some people think, but Ann, without an 'E'.
