Rehearsing

I broke Alfie out of nursery early to take him into town to see the Homecoming Parade for the athletes. We found a great spot on the steps of the Blythswood and practised flag waving for 45 minutes until the floats appeared with the athletes.

We then ran down to catch them on West George St where we walked alongside the floats and got Michael Jamieson's autograph.

It was a great atmosphere and I'm pleased we went. However, I suspect that the highlight of the day for Alfie was when I dropped him of with his dad and he got to go 'daddy's work'.
