( Wood) pecking order

Yesterday's downpour must have done something for the bird life, as air traffic around the garden today has almost been non stop. Opening he curtains at 7.30 a.m. I was astonished to see 3 Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers - adult + 2 juveniles  on the fat slab; not seen one near the garden for years. M managed to get a few pics see Muguet today. These birds returned constantly during the day but not always together. Other rare visitors are the pair of Bullfinches (as above) families of Thrushes, Blackcaps plus juvenile Robins, Blackbirds and more Tits than I could shake a stick at  - see extra. All pics taken through double glazing so not as sharp as otherwise might be.
