Yesterday's Recent Acquisitions blip showed a copy of the Long Strange Trip 3CD, the 'soundtrack' to a four part documentary being streamed by Amazon Prime. On the CD all the music is presented in full, some live, some studio, some previously unissued, whereas the documentary is mostly extracts of performances behind various people talking about the Dead and their history. I watched Episode 1 on this evening, and it included this performance of a song originally by Rev Gary Davis and featuring Pigpen on organ, as released on the album Live/Dead.
