Salad Days

Have been working through the remaining things on my to-do list and a biggie was finally getting the grass cut at the allotment. Things were a bit soggy there and the strawberries are drowned but the herbs and salad stuff are in prime Nick and ready for picking. What a difference the rabbit fence has made - in this wee patch are chives, curry plant, rocket, lettuce, beetroot, radishes. But since tonight's dinner was going to be made from whatever was left in the fridge, I limited myself to picking a single, terrific, purple radish!
