Wow!

As we drove westwards across the Island from Sandown at sunset, the sky turned the most dramatic colour - the most amazing display any of us could remember seeing for years! We pulled in at the side of a field to capture this, though it is hard to truly convey the scale and splendour of the sight we beheld.

Sandown was where my Dad proposed to my Mum more than 60 years ago, and so Mum was pleased to return there, though we didn't find the exact spot unfortunately.
