My Walt Disney Research Project

In English, we are allowed to pick any famous or sucessful person in the world! It is a 4-5 week project and you have to pick someone you're interested in. I chose Walt Disney because my favorite place is Disney World. I went to the library today to pick out books on him. They are actually very cool! I learned facts like Hollywood used to be called Hollywoodland. And The Seven Dwarfs almost had names like Crabby, Flabby, Awful, Nifty, Shifty. and Soulful. Also, that people believed Walt Disney was crazy thinking he could make a theme park. But not just a theme park, a place full of imagination that carries you away in wonder. He was a man that believed in himself and I adore that.
