Silken cream stilled
Hidden amid fluttering leaves,
Stretching to the sun. 


A moment of calm after the excitements of the past few days.  Took a wander in the garden to get a break from my desk and get outside for 10 minutes.  These are the bracts of the Chinese dogwood  in the garden, a spectacular shrub which has become a tree in our garden.
