Sea Field

Finally made it out of doors today. A trip to the allotment, then decided to see if there were any any early-migrating godwits on the beach. Not only were there none there, but I must have swapped a dead battery into the camera (schoolboy error :/ ), so the D5000 with the long zoom on it was inert in my hands.
Amazingly, I had the X10 in a pocket of my rucksack, so a rather uninspired seascape...
A bright sunny day, with a strong, gusty wind... the chimneys of Cockenzie on the left... golden fields of grain...a No26 bus... fragments of coal on the tideline, washed out of exposed seams in the bed of the Forth. That will have to do...
