Wonder how many people will wonder why the RAF Ensign is flying outside our house today?
Of course, it is the day we commemorate the Battle of Britain. The 15th was the height of the battle and the day the Luftwaffe attempt to annihilate the RAF was defeated.
Many brave pilots, on both sides, were lost during these weeks.
