Scene in 3-D

I love that my daughter gets a kick out of View-Master. We have Dora reels, Disney princess reels, and a (cringe) Barbie reel, but my favorite is the freebie reel that came with the viewer.

Viewing this reel reminds me of family road trips of my childhood when the whole family would pile into the station wagon and drive to one of these famous American landmarks where we'd get out and pose, squinting into the sun, for a photo before piling back into the car and moving on to the next landmark. I half expect to see our road-weary little selves touring scenic America in 3-D when I look at this reel.
