St Michael's, Hernhill, Kent

This little church is fifteenth century (on the site of a previous Saxon church) and is in the very pretty, and tiny, village of Hernhill, Kent.  The nearby pub is fourteenth century, and the visible exterior timbers give it a very characteristically medieval appearance. Both stand beside a small village green with a magnificent old oak tree. It's a very English scene.
