Doon Castle Broch

Sadly, there isn't much left of this broch at Ardwell Point on the Rhins of Galloway. It's a dramatic location, though, and it must have been quite a sight when it was built.

For our day out, we also walked around the Mull of Galloway. The highlight was seeing a stoat attacked by a single wheatear. After a short while it was supported by some others and the stoat retreated down the cliff.
