Damflask Reservoir

Sunday 11th June 2017 (1751)

It was a struggle to get up this morning but I had to be up and packed to travel across the Pennines, collect Mum and then meet my brother and sister-in-law at Low Bradfield near Sheffield at midday. 

We had a lovely walk along the river to Damflask reservoir before stopping at a pub for refreshments. Then it was on to Tankersley Manor Hotel and Spa for our overnight stay. I managed to do half a mile in the pool for relaxation, a lot quicker than I swam yesterday! 

A lovely evening meal followed by our usual game of cards. Oh by the way, this is our Christmas!
