JVM my life

St Just in Roseland

Last day in the cottage, took the King Harry Ferry across to the Roseland for a bit of an explore. I'd read that Sir John Betjeman had described the church at St. Just as the most beautiful church in England; he was not wrong! Nestled close to the creek, at the bottom of a beautiful landscaped slope, the early morning mist rises slowly to shroud the church. Finished up at St. Mawes, last time I was here was the 17th July (see blip) but we didn't get off the boat, this time I made up for it.
