I have to update now when I'm still half sane.

I was up before 6. Coffee, dog feeding, morning walk, grocery store, cleaning and packing. Today I cleaned also the oven and washing machine. And cellar and rooftop terrace. Some packing. Lunch. Dogs out. Work. Shopping at the hardware store (needed drill, sew, lamps outside to the side of the house, shower wall, another ceiling lamp for bathroom, silicone...) Home. feed the dogs, continue cleaning, take the dogs for their evening walk. Perhaps some cleaning or packing. Faint to bed.

But when we were doing the hardware store thing, we saw this interesting shop and decided to pop in. That was a good thing. We bought a big pot we've been needing. And a beach table, which will actually be used in our patio or front yard, depending if you want to sit in the sun or shadow and which side will be nicer area first. And then I saw this mannequin doll for 20€. Sold! It's in my atelier already.

Internet called, it will be installed tomorrow later than they first promised. IKEA called, they will deliver tomorrow much earlier than first promised. So tomorrow, we have the aircon guy early on. At the same time IKEA should be arriving with ALL the furniture. And Internet will hopefully arrive after siesta. And after all the strangers will leave the house we and the dogs will move in. So if all goes well, tonight will be our last night in a rented place.

Today they got the electricity to the house. Someone had apparently really missed on the job they were supposed to be doing. Some of the parts were missing and cables were not properly added.

If I haven't told already, in Spain when they do a new house, they don't always make it "key ready" so we've been running around thinking what kind of outside lights we wanna buy, what kind of furniture do we want to the bathroom aso. So in the end all the same looking houses will have individual differences. We decided to stay with the very modern style the house is made in the first place and not to save money on the last little details. I'm starting to feel so F good about how the house is turning to be. I suppose you will start to see some in the week to come. Depending what we are able to finish.

This has been a lot of work. it's nearly 30°C outside and we work like crazy. But it's all worth it. I don't know how I'm able to sleep one more night in the old place. (Well in the new house there's no bed, so that will help.)

What we are still missing is someone to install lamps on the ceilings and outside walls. There's just cable hanging. Then inside will be about ready. Except for the kitchen. I wanna get the feel to the kitchen so I know what is still needed.

After that I can concentrate on the front yard. Plant some green. Anything else we need to wait until city achitect has visited the houses and put the stamp on paper. After that we can get our rooftop terrace, turn our patio into a storage place and put a little sauna inside that area.

Oh, we can put the grids in front of windows before the stamp. That we can do and that is still on our to-do list.
