Under the spell

Today there was a sunny spell that lasted 7 minutes 8 seconds.

Brenda managed to catch 7 minutes 3 seconds of it.

The rest of the time she tried to figure out where that camera shutter sound had come from. She couldn't. Apart from an old couple eagerly licking their Teddy's 99, she could only see a woman in her 30s struggling with a husky on a leash and the blur of a stripy shirt belonging to an overweight rubicund speed-walker rapidly fading in the distance.
