Where the Light Gets In

Manuella - Day 2

a full day of work
nine till two then four till eight
scenes fit into place

We had been careful not to go to bed (too) late, so as to be able to put in a good few hours of work on Saturday.

It was a full day indeed; everybody spent a while "onstage" (see extra to see how we had arranged the scene - it was rather lovely). In the evening, two friends who were members of the troupe in the past came for dinner and we didn't go to bed as early as the night before... Music was played (on the guitar and the piano) and songs were sung, ranging from Lou Reed's Walk On The Wild Side to Gounod's Ave Maria, with some Georges Brassens and Leonard Cohen thrown in for good measure!
