Thursday Traffic

This is nothing compared to what apparently happened yesterday.  According to the news, the gale force winds late Wednesday afternoon toppled a lorry/truck on the A16, completely blocking ALL three lanes plus the emergency lane, resulting in a cardiac arrest in all the major motorways leading from or to the A16 (mustn't forget the curious viewers going in the opposite direction who have obviously never seen a traffic accident before), including the A29, which is normally used as an alternative route.  Wasn't I thankful I left a full hour from work before this happened?

So, yes, woke up with my dearly beloved vertigo which made itself scarce after about 15 minutes, then went to work, worked, went back home, continued with unpacking.  In short, nothing out of the ordinary.
