Shhhh

We are now in Nelson, and this was taken as we arrived from our journey from Picton.......not a breath of wind, so quiet with lovely light.

The ferry crossing (three & half hours) was a piece of cake even though it was windy.  When we arrived they told us that all ferries for tomorrow have been cancelled as they expect very high seas with the big southerly front that is raging up the country.  So a good choice to come over on a Tuesday eh?

We are here until Sunday, some biking is being arranged, some catch up with my niece and nephew and maybe some blip catch-up as well.

And so very exciting to have won the necessary boat race to race against Oracle in the America Cup.  Now watching the Highlanders versus Lions - 10 - 10, what a smashing atmosphere down there with all the "scarfies" along with red supporters.
