Cold Drinks in the Garden

After three days of rain and dampness, this morning dawned bright and sunny, with a fresh breeze blowing.
This was really good news as it's upper secondary school graduation today and they'll be lots of fine clothes about in town this evening. One of our best friends (and youngest member of the G&T group) has a daughter graduating this evening. The grandparents are over from Ireland for the graduation and we enjoyed a good part of the day with them. This Blip was taken at home today, after we'd walked around town in the morning and eaten lunch at the library.
Soon after this picture was taken Jan took J and C back to town to view the ball gown and I started nailing together some wooden scaffolding in preparation for work on the Red House roof tomorrow. I'm fairly sure replacing the roof will feature on blip over the next few days!
Tomorrow we pick up our new car! New to us anyway; it spent it's first year with a well known car hire company.
I must make really sure I don't drop any large pieces of old roof onto the new car!
