A Greek Facade

After yesterday's little architecture lecture, here is an anomaly (there are always exceptions and quirks to even the strictest of rules). The very nicely and recently painted yellow building in the bottom right is just a facade. After 30 years of visiting the island it was only drawn to my attention today (it has been there for decades apparently ...so I have missed it, it's not new). We can only surmise that it is to piss off the people behind, which is believable and probably true - I will try to investigate. However it is in the classic neo-byzantine style, so someone approved it.
