Odd

The traditional weekend-opener of the Friday evening football. This is usually a mix of old guys and young players but, for some reason, people weren't signing up this week. We managed to get enough for a 5 a side game but it was almost all youngsters.

I realised that this was the end of an 8 day run during which I ran three 10Ks in Paris then played football for 5 days in a row. Tomorrow I'm doing nothing!

Rolled out of the Mog and into the bath with a bottle of beer. C was out so I watched the Howard Goodall programme about Sgt Pepper on iPlayer. Very good. I'll listen to the album tomorrow!
