Eid, the feast at the end of Ramadan is expected to start on the 25th. In preparation sweets and biscuits are busily being prepared. I spotted these in the local bakery and was given one to taste. They have a nut filling, are dusted with icing sugar and are, basically, yummy!

Calls were made today to follow-up my visa. It'll be another two to four weeks so I'm being re-employed to do some tasks giving me money, something to do and insurance. And a distraction from this frustratingly long process.
