Hottest Day of the year so far

The traffic on the coast road convinced me this was no day to go down to the town by car, so I rode down on my Brompton and it was a good thing I did, as parking would have been a nightmare, and it was 30C , meaning that the breeze on the bike with me in shorts and a short sleeved shirt, put the temperature in the very pleasant range, unlike some of the folk who had not expected it to be so hot.
Needless to say it was having a record day for visitors!
