Through Rain spotted glasses I saw a strange thing

While out on a bike ride, something extraordinary was  sailing past Whitby Abbey, and it looked like six separate "sticks"
With the Compact on 30x Zoom I was able to make it out, and pedalling furiously down the hill to get nearer got a second closer view (see additional image)
And then the presence of a huge crane  gave it's purpose away,  it's a special vessel for assembling Wind Farm towers  out at sea, and it was coming from the Direction of Redcar to the North where they are installing even more of them and going presumably down the coast to Hornsea, where the biggest at sea wind farm in Europe is under construction.
So I brought something back from my bike ride beside getting soaked of course!
