A Talented Duo

C, on the left, and G are students at Western Washington University here in Bellingham. As of May 31, they also are our yard work crew each week, getting an amazing amount done in two hours! I can't stoop or kneel comfortably now, and Phil would much rather be in his workshop than weeding the back yard. 

C and G tackle the diverse challenges of our front and back yards with intelligence, alacrity, thoroughness, and good humor. It's a treat to have them here, and so nice to see how much gets done each visit! Two of our neighbors also use their services, and are equally delighted.

C and G also staff the Bellingham Coffee Roasters booth at the Bellingham Farmers Market on Saturday, which is where I took this photo. That booth is in the covered area of the market, in between the copious choices offered by Mount Bakery and the fresh pretzels available from Ralf's Bavarian Bakery, both of which go well with a good (takeaway) cup of coffee.

I've told C and G that I'd be happy to write reference letters (emails?) for them when they've completed their college degrees and are job-hunting. I have nothing but high praise for these highly capable and thoroughly delightful young women!
