Wood Sandpiper

Today we took a visit to Frampton  RSPB reserve to see what was around. A few bits around including a very late Whooper Swan which is a winter visitor to this country.  Enjoyed a walk around the reserve on what was a lovely sunny day. As we was heading back to the car we spotted this wader feeding away. It is a Wood Sandpiper which is a migrant wader so a pleasant sighting. I managed to grab a few shots I have included a lovely Great Crested grebe shot as an extra. Also some of my other shots can be seen HERE including a lovely Corn Bunting which was another nice bird to see.
