Beneath Biscay

Walk in the park

Weather very warm, went for a walk in the park with M and her mum, then lunch out. Had intended to find somewhere to have lunch outdoors, but of course everyone had the same idea, so we landed up eating indoors in our usual standby 'A Caldeira' un on Campa Torres headland, which I've Blipped before.

Usual Galician fare; mussels vinaigrette, pimientos del padrón (seared green chilli peppers) with sea salt, octopus and cachelos (boiled potatoes drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with pimenton. All washed down with a jug of Ribeiro wine, drunk from the traditional shallow white pocelain cups and followed by rice pudding.
