Hydrangeas

We saw this lovely display of flowers in the courtyard at the Victoria and Albert Museum this afternoon.  We had come here for a cup of tea in their lovely V&A Café. Many people preferred to sit outside around the pond, enjoying the lovely warm sunshine.

A little earlier, we had been in the Natural History Museum across the road to visit the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. This has been on for months, but this is the first opportunity we have found to go.  As always, it was a splendid exhibition of outstanding photographs.  Interesting to see that European locations seemed to dominate this time, something I don't think has always been the case.
