Muckross Abbey and Fox

Today we spent the day at several nearby attractions  in the National Park which adjoins Killarney.  The most impressive by far was Muckross Abbey; founded in the late 15th century, it "has had a violent history and ... been damaged and reconstructed many times."  I walked all through it, feeling immersed in a time.  We also visited Muckross House, Torc Falls, and Ross Castle.

The map does not show the Abbey or any of the other features;  I've marked it arbitrarily.
