Dragonfly

This dragonfly settled a few feet from me while I was having breakfast this morning, and stayed just long enough for me to get the camera and take a picture. I don't know what it is, a Brilliant Emerald perhaps, although the online source I looked at suggested that all of the green British dragonfly species are scarce, so misidentification is probably very easy. Still, I've posted the photo on iRecord, so someone who knows will confirm what it is. Or maybe someone here can identify it. The wings are so sparkling, and the green so fresh, that I wonder whether it was newly emerged.
