A wild baby for Debbie's Wild Baby Week. 

Not quite so hot today at 26degrees with a very welcome breeze too, especially on my walk along the canalside. I was glad to see that all 7 of the cygnets have survived*, although I didn't see any sign of one of the adults and unless they are together I never know which is the Cob and which is the Pen.

Said au revoir to French Friend this morning before she departs with husband to France for the next three or four months.  We had planned to do some more clothes pattern cutting, sewing and a bit of mending but due to the weather we gave all that a miss and just sat in the shade, chatting and sipping cold drinks!!
