A Perfect Summer Walk

B and I met friend A today and we all set off to complete the circular Bayfield Bird Walk.  This attractive walk is a favourite and took us through a variety of habitat, including farmland, woods and along the river Glaven.
About two thirds of the way round is a very convenient café called ‘Natural Surroundings (the flowerpots are on the wall of the cafe).  We stopped here for a coffee and cake, in their pretty garden before completing the last part of the walk which rejoins the river Glaven before returning us to the beginning again.

We had a lovely time getting to know A who hasn’t walked with us before and there was plenty of chat and laughter…a great way to spend our morning and to celebrate the longest day!
