Clifftop Walk

A gorgeous and very hot day! My Wednesday friends and I had the luxury of a whole day together, doing a circular walk in the Purbecks, including a beautiful stretch along the clifftops near Chapman's Pool, and ending up at the pub for lunch. It was a bit hazy, so not the best for photos, but I rather liked the way it made the sea and sky merge in this one! It was very lovely walking with the sea breeze but it got mighty hot as we moved away from the coast, up the slope, as we returned to our starting point. We had a leisurely lunch in the pub garden from where we could enjoy distant, although very hazy, views of Corfe Castle. A great way to spend the day!

Home again late afternoon, I grabbed a quick snooze before going out to spend the evening enjoying listening to a Jewish man being 'interviewed' by a Christian woman in the garden of a beautiful house by the river, bathed in the last rays of sunlight. A wonderful and very interesting evening!

Once more, I'm blipping this a day late because not only was yesterday so full but also today! So today will have to be blipped tomorrow......

Many thanks for all your great comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's Tiny Tuesday blip, for which I was thrilled to receive an Honorary  Mention! :))
