Pergola

Spousie has spent the last three days up the short step ladder pruning the vines on the pergola outside our bedroom. This year he is determined to win the battle against powdery mildew. Having pruned and sprayed these nine vines he will move on to the far greater number of much smaller plants in the vineyard. The vines on the pergola were planted by him whereas those in the vineyard were discovered after we had bought the land.
