Away

After a morning at work, I picked the girls up from school and Emma headed off with biggest and littlest and Rosie and I headed to Arran with the bikes.

We got the train from Slateford to Glasgow and then Glasgow to Ardrossan Harbour. It was great and such a relaxed way to do it. As we arrived at Ardossan I thought we would have an hour or so to get some shopping, but the earlier boat was delayed due to high winds so we caught that and got our shopping on the island.

We rode up to Glen Rosa campsite and pitched up. And I educated Rosie on how Knorr Chicken Noodle soup is a camping essential. The photo is her chasing the last noodles round the cup to the light of my old headtorch.

I think I fell asleep before she did.
