River Deben, Woodbridge

Another beautiful mid summers evening and a walk along the River Deben at Woodbridge.   In the foreground are the boats of Deben Yacht Club and in the background is the Woodbridge Tide Mill.   The Tide Mill  was granted Lottery Funding a few years ago to restore the mill to full working order and it is now run by volunteers and opens to the public who can buy the flour from the grain that is milled.  
We sat on the river wall for a while enjoying the evening and watching and listening to the many wading birds finding food from the mud flats as it was low tide.
