The East Neuk

Our club walk took us to the Kingdom of Fife today.  We walked from Elie to Anstruther, passing through the villages of St. Monans and Pittenweem.  The East Neuk villages are very pretty, and we enjoyed our walk.  My blip is taken going through Pittenweem.  The sun was shining, as it did all day, and the water glistened in the sunshine.

After our walk and changing out of our sweaty gear, we visited Kellie Castle, where we had arranged for a guided tour of the castle, after tea/coffee and scones in the tearoom.  It was most interesting, our guide was very knowledgeable and with a sense of humour.  We also had a walk around the walled garden which was quite spectacular.

Too many photographs, but I chose this one to give a feeling of our walk.
