My Favourite Flower

We went to a couple of different parks today for a walk and whenever I see this flower I have to take a million shots of every one of them :o). It's the Eucalyptus Caesia Silver Princess!

I liked this particular shot because it shows the progression of how they open. The one on the left is still closed the one on the right has just cracked open but the lid is still on and the one in the middle has lost its lid and is in the process of opening out.

They are so beautiful and hard to resist and because I had so many shots I've put another one in the extra's which was a huge bloom about the size of a small orange, amazing!!
